If a UDF Header/Data Database becomes corrupted or if you just want to make sure that all of online UDF Data is registered in the local Database(s), you need to remake the UDF Header/Data Databases. This can be done through the REBUILD DATABASE button located on the ACTION row.
Any set of UDF Header/Data databases can be designated to be rebuilt. To rebuild all of the UDF Header/Data databases associated with a UDF project, set the UDF options through the UDF PROJECT button. To rebuild all of the UDF Header/Data databases associated with a given UDF experiment or instrument set the UDF options through the UDF EXPERIMENT or INSTRUMENT button. The VIRTUAL button is not used in this mode.
The UDF options must be set from left to right, that is, beginning at the PROJECT button. Clicking on any of the UDF definition buttons displays all possible options based on the previous lineage selections. NOTE: If needed, the CLEAR button can be used to clear all of the selected UDF lineage options.
Once a selection has been made of which UDF Header/Data databases to rebuild, click on the REBUILD DATABASE button. This will then register all the online UDF Data onto your local database. NOTE: Once process has been initiated, the button will stay pressed untill the rebuilding is done. It will pop out once it is complete.
