This data set from the High Energy Electron Fluxmeter (HEEF) instrument on the CRRES satellite includes local pitch angle distributions of one-minute flux averages for 19 electron energy channels at 0.65 to 7.5 MeV. Input for creating this database was raw HEEF data at 0.512-sec time resolution. In one-minute intervals these high resolution data were sorted and averaged into five-degree local pitch angle bins (19 bins ranging from 0 to 90 degrees). The resulting average count rates were corrected for deadtime and temperature effects and then converted to flux units. Each one-minute record was tagged with two sets of eight ephemeris values - the first set corresponded to the beginning of the one-minute interval, the second with the interval's average UT. The data files (d04XXXX.min) for CRRES orbit numbers XXXX = 15 - 1067 are provided in UNIX binary format along with FORTRAN software for extraction of selected parameters and a format description in Microsoft Word (*.doc) and Portable Document Format (*.pdf) files.
