Maryland IMP 8 data set created at NSSDC in 1998 by excluding ULET and Engineering data from the "Summary Tapes" provided by U. Maryland to NSSDC, and by converting from binary to ASCII. The files each contain one month of data. The 1538-byte logical records contain 10.92 minutes of data (one "summary period"). Logical records are included only for times of IMP telemetry capture, such that file sizes are variable.
