Vector Electric Field Measurements

Description

These experimenter-supplied, vector electric field measurements data are of binary magnetic tape created on an Interdata (Perkin-Elmer) 7/32 computer. The data consists of 64-byte records containing record number; orbit number; time in year, day of year, and seconds of day; electric field (mv/meter); altitude; magnetic local time (seconds); invariant latitude; components of magnetic field (gammas); and first through twelfth boom-65 filters. This data set was submitted as input for Coordinated Data Analysis Workshops and therefore limited to discrete periods within the time interval covered. (Note added December 2001: This data set was released by NSSDC in January 2002, as a non-NASA data set with no likely future access potential and as the only NSSDC-resident Perkin Elmer binary data set. - JHK)
