For Unix/Linux and OSX based platforms obtain the source UDFToIDL code package, place it in the $UDFTOOL_HOME/PKGS directory and install it through UDFLibrary. Remember to set the IDL_DIR environment variable to the local idl directory. For WINDOWS based platforms follow the instructions at the site.
