Mean Iron Charge States from ACE/SEPICA
Presented are mean iron charge states for the 95 SEP events that were observed with SEPICA during its operational phase, from late 1997 October through 2000. They contain the 89 largest CME-related events and six clearly flare-related events. These events are defined by intensity increases as observed by SEPICA in its core energy range 0.0.33 MeV 1.nucleon.
These data are used as the starting-point for the data analysis in Guo, Z., et al., Observation of High Iron Charge States at Low Energies in Solar Energetic Particle Events, ApJ, 785:26, 2014.
