The Interplanetary Monitoring Platform (IMP-8) satellite constitute an overall program to study the near-interplanetary region, the outer portions of the earth's magnetosphere, and the interactions of the sun- earth system. This document describes the data processing and analysis program systems for the cosmicra-ray experiments onboard the IMP-8 spacecraft, the data type and the available data in the database at NSSDC and backup of database at UniTree.PROGRAM DATA TYPE SPECIFICATION
