IMP-8 Pha Summarizer Program

User's Guide

1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION

   The IMP-8 Pha Summarizer creates PHA Summary (MATR) file for the cosmic
   ray experiement (experiment number 52) on board the IMP-8 spacecraft.
   PHA file, a parameter card, and a catalog file are the input to the
   program. PHA Summary file, Low gain file and an updated catalog file
   are the output.

3. PROCESSING ENVIRONMENT

   The IMP-8 PHA Summarizer program is developed on an Sun worksation Sun/OS
   system. The source codes are written in Sun FORTRAN and C languages. A local
   I/O system FTIO package was developed. A shell program was developed to
   execute the IMP-8 PHA Summarizer program.
