LAD Level 0 to Level 1 Conversion document

Level 0:  Raw LAD counts.

Level 1:  LAD photon intensities in units of Rayleigh (R).
These can be obtained from Level 0 using the calibration factors:
TWINS1 LAD1:     2.205 (cts/sec)/R
TWINS1 LAD2:     2.166 (cts/sec)/R
TWINS2 LAD1:     1.803 (cts/sec)/R
TWINS2 LAD2:     1.955 (cts/sec)/R
As determined in 2002 by Guenter Lay and Uwe Nass at the Berlin Electron Synchrotron (BESSY) the exact values for the LAD-calibration factors are above.

For TWINS1:
level0_timelapse is from the Instrument Status Data.
per_second = 1/( level0_timelapse/1000.0d)

Level1_lad1_0_data = level0_lad1_0_data*2.205 *per_second  
Level1_lad2_0_data = level0_lad2_0_data*2.166 *per_second  
Level1_lad1_2_data = level0_lad1_2_data*2.205 *per_second 
Level1_lad2_2_data = level0_lad2_2_data*2.166 *per_second


For TWINS2:
level0_timelapse is from the Instrument Status Data.
per_second = 1/( level0_timelapse/1000.0d)

Level1_lad1_0_data = level0_lad1_0_data*1.803 *per_second  
Level1_lad2_0_data = level0_lad2_0_data*1.955 *per_second
