Charged Particle Detector Averaged Data

Description

This data set was used for Consolidated Data Analysis Workshop 6, and superseded data set 79-007A-11A. It contains high time resolution (1-s) mode data for parts of day 80, 1979, and 320-s averaging mode data for parts of day 90, 1979. The high time resolution data contain time and magnetic field components, plus the pitch angles at the various detectors, at 1-s intervals. And within each second the data set also contains the four sets of high- and low-energy detector energy values and distribution functions (in the units s**3/km**6) for the high- and low-energy rotatable electron and ion detectors and for the low-energy fixed ion detector. The 320-s averaged data contain time and total magnetic field values at 320-s intervals. And within each interval the data set also contains 64 sets of high- and low-energy detector energy values and distribution functions in directions parallel and perpendicular to the high- and low-energy rotatable electron and ion detectors and for the low-energy fixed ion detector. These data were submitted as input for CDAW 6 and are therefore limited to discrete periods within the time interval covered.
